When you write with sources, it is important that you indicate when you are borrowing ideas or words from another author. Citations help readers differentiate between your ideas and the ideas you have borrowed.


We are going to look at excerpts from scholarly journal articles that are part of the health science literature and examine how they could be used or misused in student writing. Though this activity uses AMA style citations, the focus is on proper attribution.
